Pam and Steve and their wonderful family are from Saugerties, NY and have been doing shows with Country Folk Art for about 20 years. Their booth is a show favorite with many of our customers as they love collecting their interchangeable magnetic pictures that fit frames and mantels made of wood and hand embossed metal. You will also find beautiful florals, garland and ironwork and many great seasonal decorative items.

Nigel came to the art of woodturning on a small lathe that he purchased because of a pressing interest in woodturning. He started this hobby without the knowledge of how challenging this art form could be. He was pleasantly surprised at the scope and diversity of woodturning. Now, he has a dedicated workshop with a lathe that can handle any piece he wants to create. The craft of woodturning started out as a small hobby for him, but it is now a staunch part of his life. It gives him a creative outlet, and he feels lucky to be able to channel his visions into reality. The relatively instant gratification of putting a piece of wood up on the lathe and coming out with a finished piece an hour later, is something that appeals to him very much. While some pieces may take months—from drying, to putting together the segments, to the final turning—some pieces are quite quick. The variety in the scope of projects speaks to him as an artist, and he likes the flexibility that he has as a result of this.
